The Cedar Valley Highschool Community Outreach for the Cedar Valley High School Cluster is sponsoring a Community Information Night. It will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd from 3:30-7:00 PM at the High School. All Eagle Mountain families are invited to attend.
The event will have food trucks, games, and prizes. Food trucks will include Squatch Pizza, Fatty Tuna, Jurassic Tacos, Peruvian Food Truck, Renee’s Cheesecake, and Mexican Food Truck. There will be Aviator sunglasses, t-shirts and more given to the first visitors, plus free giveaways for those who attend any of the presentations.
All Eagle Mountain families are invited to attend our Community Information Night at Cedar Valley High School. We will hold Parent Teacher Conference for high school-age students. Counselors will be available to assist with next year’s high school registration. Free mental health screeners will be offered for grades 9 and up – sign up at bit.ly/3R8558w. Food trucks out front. JetFuel soda at the football stadium. School store is open for swag. Colleges, tech and trade schools and apprenticeships, and military and community resources will be set up in the commons to present and answer questions. These exhibitors include mental health organizations and therapy options, food pantry assistance, career exploration and assistance, suicide prevention, free babysitting services and Hispanic resources. Students can learn about college credit opportunities and assistance, career pathways and CTE internships.

Mike Kieffer is a dynamic leader and community advocate based in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Beyond his editorial role, Kieffer is the owner of Lake Mountain Media, LLC, a company specializing in media and communications, and the co-owner of Quail Run Farms, which focuses on sustainable farming and community engagement. He also actively contributes to the local economy and culture as a member of the Eagle Mountain Chamber of Commerce.
Kieffer’s dedication extends to preserving and promoting the history and heritage of the Cedar Valley area. He often participates in community-centered events and media, including podcasts that explore the unique aspects of life in the region. Through his varied endeavors, he remains a steadfast advocate for the growth and enrichment of the local community.
