EAGLE MOUNTAIN, UT – If you drove past the High School today, you may have wondered what was the deal with all the real bad parkers. Yes, it is true that not all High School students know how to park between the lines. But we give them a break because most of them have not been driving for more than a year.
The Seniors at Cedar Valley High School (CVHS) picked today for the day of the dreaded Senior Prank, the last time that the graduating class of 2022 can cause mischief and grief for the faculty (specifically the cleaning crew). This year they ramped up the prank by not doing just one prank but several pranks.
Sideways Parking
If you drive by the school you will notice cars parked in every direction. A lot of the cars are taking up more than a single parking space. There are even a few students that got creative and parked halfway on the rocks around the parking lot. (This is a new one that I don’t think has been done in previous years.)
Class in the Halls
All the chairs and tables were taken out of the rooms and moved into the halls. When the teachers and students arrived the chairs and tables from the classrooms were neatly set up in the hallways.
Confetti Bomb
All of the classes got attacked with a barrage of confetti. The confetti passed along the message “just wing it class of 2022”.
Git Pranked
This sign was posted in the commons area, with a banner of two stick figure seniors doing the dab.
Past Years Pranks
- 2021 – The seniors took all the chairs in the common area and wrapped them with plastic wrap.
- 2020 – COVID strikes… Seniors did not get to do any senior pranks 🙁
- 2019 – (Westlake High School) Filled commons with balloons and toilet paper and plastic-wrapped the stairs.
