Tears wash the soul clean
Ridding it of the dirt and debris
That clings and clogs.
Laughter patches the holes
Smoothing over the tears and cracks
That snags and snares.
Music soothes the frazzled ends
Balming the pain and distortion
That fades and frays.
Solace rebirths the mended soul
Rising slowly through the depths of despair and anguish.
Rising, renewed, washed,
Patched, soothed.
Mended.
