Hello, my name is Brett Wright. I am excited to announce my candidacy seeking re-election to the Eagle Mountain City Council. It has been an honor and privilege to serve you on the city council for the last three and one-half years.
I’m a husband, a father, grandfather, small business owner and a twenty-one-year resident of the city we love. What happens here matters to me and my family just as it does to you and your family. I am seeking re-election and asking for an opportunity to continue my advocacy to protect and improve the unique quality of life we moved to Eagle Mountain to enjoy.
I’m proud of my service to the citizens of this amazing place. My nature is to put my head down and do the trench work required to produce the outcomes we need. I do not seek public or private accolades. With that said, I believe it is important for the voters to hold their elected officials accountable. The great thing about being an incumbent is that I have a record. You can review what I have done. There are countless audio and video records for your consideration. My voting record is public and very accessible. There is no need to take a chance on whether my campaign rhetoric will match my policy decisions. I have been instrumental in producing many enhancements and improvements to the community as a planning commissioner and now as a city council member. I invite you to review some of these results at brett4emcity.com. These can be found on the results pages of my website. If you have questions or concerns about my record, please reach out to me (801) 722-9644.
The truth is that there is still much to do and I’m in the middle of the heavy lifting required to produce the results that will make a difference long term. Earning your vote for a second term will allow me to continue to prioritize a focus on these four areas of improvement in the quality of life for all citizens. I look forward to connecting with you this campaign season!
