EAGLE MOUNTAIN, UTAH — Melissa Clark, a current Eagle Mountain City Councilmember, trusted local business leader and CEO of Valley Crossroads Chamber of Commerce, longtime resident, and passionate advocate for Eagle Mountain families, has officially declared her candidacy for Mayor of Eagle Mountain in the upcoming 2025 election.
“Eagle Mountain isn’t just where we live—it’s where we grow families, build businesses, and shape our future,” said Clark. “That’s why I’m stepping forward to bring my comprehensive experience and lead with heart, purpose, and a clear plan for the challenges ahead.”
Clark’s campaign focuses on six key priorities. Her professional and public service endeavors have uniquely prepared her to lead out on::
- Responsible Growth & Infrastructure Planning – Ensuring development is backed by investment in roads, utilities, transportation, and essential public services.
- Economic Vitality, Job Creation & Fiscal Responsibility – As a business leader and Chamber CEO, Clark has helped drive local investment. Attracting new opportunities, supporting local businesses, and ensuring responsible use of public funds as Eagle Mountain continues to be a statewide leader will be a top priority.
- Safety & Security – A commitment to ensuring public safety resources keep pace with growth and that first responders have the tools and staffing they need to serve the community.
- Transparency, Accountability & Communication – Clark is known for showing up, solving problems, and listening when it counts, whether through open meetings, community events, or one-on-one conversations. She has spearheaded open dialogue with residents about the issues that matter most to Eagle Mountain.
