Recognized by US Congress, experienced community leader and advocate aims to bring fresh ideas and proactive leadership
Saratoga Springs, June 15, 2025 — Randall Diamond, a dedicated community leader with over 15 years of service, is proud to announce his candidacy for Saratoga Springs City Council. With a focus on addressing traffic issues, enhancing safety, and increasing recreational opportunities, Diamond promises to lead with transparency, innovation, and action.
“I am deeply invested in this community and commit to helping Saratoga Springs grow while preserving its unique charm,” said Diamond. “I believe in finding solutions that make life better for every resident while preparing for a brighter future.”
Diamond’s extensive experience includes serving as Board President for a Mosquito Control agency, on a Regional Hospital’s Governing Board, and as a Commissioner for City Parks. His leadership earned him Special Congressional Recognition for his numerous community contributions. Also, Diamond’s graduation from the Saratoga Springs Citizens’ Police Academy, provides him with valuable insight into local safety concerns.
“My professional and volunteer experiences have equipped me with the skills to address our city’s challenges effectively,” Diamond emphasized. “From advocating for quicker traffic solutions to expanding parks and arts amenities, I want to ensure Saratoga Springs continues to thrive.”
Key priorities of Diamond’s campaign include:
- Transportation Solutions: Advocate for expedited measures to alleviate traffic congestion and mitigate construction inconveniences for residents.
- Economic Responsibility: Work to lower property taxes, ensure responsible financial management, and foster economic growth.
- Recreational and Cultural Growth: Expand Patriot Park with new amenities like an amphitheater, greater promotion of the arts, and establishing more regional parks to bring the community together.
In addition to his community achievements, Diamond brings over two decades of professional experience in leadership and business. He is the founder of a software startup, previously served as Managing Director at O.C. Tanner, and now works as Vice President of Customer Success for a software development company.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to use my experience and passion to make Saratoga Springs even greater,” stated Diamond. “We all know that Life’s Just Better Here, and I’m determined to ensure that statement rings true for every resident.”
Diamond lives in Saratoga Springs with his wife of 15 years, their daughter in sixth grade, and their son who will be attending the University of Utah this fall. He invites residents to learn more about his campaign and vision for the city.
