Building on a Decade of Progress — Let’s Keep Moving Forward
Over the past ten years, Lehi has experienced extraordinary growth, and I’ve been honored to help guide that progress as a member of your City Council. Today, I’m announcing my candidacy for re-election, because there is still more work to do, and more opportunities ahead.
We’ve grown in population, in jobs, and in vision, and we’ve done it while striving to maintain the values that make Lehi special.
Economic Momentum & Fiscal Responsibility
From the landmark $11.2 billion investment by Texas Instruments (the largest in Utah history) to steady increases in sales and property tax revenue, Lehi’s financial health has never been stronger. Over the past decade, we’ve more than tripled our general fund revenue, allowing us to invest in vital services, infrastructure, and community programs, all while maintaining one of the lowest property tax rates in the region.
Smarter Infrastructure for a Growing City
We’ve taken bold steps to address growth with improved traffic coordination, road expansions like 2300 West, and new east-west connections. We’re working smarter, not just harder, to ensure our infrastructure keeps pace with our community’s needs.
Parks, Healthcare, and Community Life
We opened Utah County’s largest and most inclusive playground at Family Park and welcomed Primary Children’s Hospital to Lehi, a major milestone in local healthcare access. These investments are not just amenities, they are commitments to families, wellness, and community belonging.
Preparing for the Future
In 2024, Lehi residents approved the split of the Alpine School District, a bold step toward more responsive, localized educational leadership. We’re also tackling affordability, smart growth, and quality-of-life concerns head-on. Our city is changing, and we must continue to lead with vision and unity.
Be Bold. Be Unified. Be Lehi.
- That’s not just a tagline — it’s a roadmap.
- It’s how we grow with courage and vision.
- It’s how we make decisions that include everyone.
- It’s how we honor Lehi’s past while building its future.
If you believe in that vision, I ask for your support. Let’s keep working together — boldly, with unity, and always with Lehi in mind.
With gratitude,
Paul Hancock
Lehi City Council Member
