As a proud resident of Lehi for the past 10 years, I’ve seen our city undergo tremendous growth and change. I’ve been here through the massive development, and like many of you, I’ve felt both the excitement and the growing pains that come with it. That’s why I, Paul Binns, am running for mayor of Lehi with a platform centered on infrastructure, transparency, and fiscal responsibility. I’m not here to put a bandage on problems, I’m here to build solutions that last.
Drawing from my experience as a local business owner and long-time community advocate, I believe that smart, sustainable infrastructure is the foundation of a thriving city. My plan focuses on long-term solutions that meet the needs of today while future-proofing Lehi for the next generation. From safer roads to efficient utilities and improved transportation systems, my goal is to ensure that our growth doesn’t outpace our capacity to support it.
Transparency is another cornerstone of my campaign. I will implement open communication between city officials and residents through regular town halls, accessible public records, and real-time updates on city spending. Taxpayers deserve to know where their money is going—and why. By making the city’s finances understandable and accountable, we can foster trust and civic engagement in a meaningful way.
Finally, fiscal responsibility is not just a slogan; it’s a promise. As mayor, I will work to manage our city’s budget with discipline, balancing necessary expenditures with responsible savings. Lehi deserves leadership that’s proactive, not reactive, governance based on planning, not patchwork. I respectfully ask for your support in the upcoming election as we work together to shape a stronger, smarter, and more transparent Lehi.
Sincerely,
Paul Binns
