Longtime Community Leader Pledges Full-Time Leadership to Address Growth and Transportation
Paige Albrecht, a 22-year Lehi resident and trusted voice in city services, has officially declared her candidacy for Mayor of Lehi.
Albrecht brings over two decades of hands-on service to the city, including service on the City Council, Planning Commission, Arts Council, Historical Society, and multiple school councils. A graduate of Utah Valley University with a Master’s in Public Service, she has been a steady advocate for thoughtful growth, infrastructure that keeps pace with development, and open, transparent government.
A hallmark of her campaign is her pledge to serve as a full-time mayor, a rare level of commitment that she believes the current challenges demand. “Our city is at a turning point,” Albrecht said. “We need a mayor who can devote their full time and attention to shaping Lehi’s future, not just managing its growth.”
Her campaign will focus on two of the city’s most urgent issues:
- Managing growth in a way that protects the character of Lehi’s neighborhoods while planning for the future
- Improving transportation through smarter traffic planning, better road safety, and increased connectivity
As Lehi continues to grow at one of the fastest rates in the state, residents are increasingly concerned about congestion, overdevelopment, and the strain on city services. Albrecht’s platform responds to those concerns, focusing on managing growth responsibly, investing in infrastructure that keeps pace, and easing traffic pressure through partnerships and smarter transportation planning. Her approach is grounded in public service, data-informed policy, and direct accountability to voters.
Albrecht believes that Lehi’s next mayor must lead with integrity, vision, and a strong sense of responsibility to every resident. “This is our home,” she said. “We owe it to our community and our kids to get this right.”
