must be a breeze in there…saw the egg moving, haha!
Carlie, we do get some pretty high winds in the area. If you are interested, we do have a weather station that is on the same property. You can check it out at this URL: https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KUTEAGLE19#history

Female just left the nest. I now see the 4 eggs! I wonder if she will lay #5? Only time will tell. <3

I am looking for a video camera to use in a nest box. Can you share any information about what type of cameras are in use, how they are powered, and how they are viewed?
Robert, thanks for asking. We use a camera for this company: http://www.spyonabird.com/. We are using the wireless one, but can connect with wire if needed. It is currently about 200 ft from the residence it is by, so we use an amped wireless extender (https://www.ampedwireless.com/). For power we thought about using solar, but have run an extension cord from the residence to the webcam. Because of the location of the residence the only option is wireless as well to the ISP. We then use a streaming service to pull the feed from the camera and share it. We do that so we only have one connection to the camera for the feed, and everyone watching is using that feed instead of each person hitting the camera directly. It seems to work pretty well.
I was interested in the camera, but it appears spyonabird has closed their doors.
Sorry Jack, but it does look like the company is out of business. Which is sad, it was nice to support a birding company. The new camera is a reolink that can be found at most electronic retailers. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks Mike, I will look up that information.
Did something happen to the 5th baby? I can only see 4.
Been watching these little guys a lot – they want to spread their wings and fly!
Only a single male in this group of 6
Have these birds been banded?
