On November 19th, the Board of Canvassers (Currently the City Council) had a meeting prior to the City Council Policy Session. The Board of Canvassers was convened to, “The Board of Canvassers will review the report of the Eagle Mountain City General Election of November 5th, 2019, verifying the results of the election by ratifying the results of the canvass; accepting the report of the Election Official and certifying the election results; and declaring the persons reported by the Election Official as receiving the highest number of votes elected to the Office of City Council.”
Three councilmembers were elected during the General Election. Colby Curtis the only Incumbent in the race was re-elected as well as Jared Gray and Carolyn Love.
