“Eagle Mountain City has gone through a few logos and brands already in only 23 years. Our current logo and brand standards were developed and implemented in 2008-2009. Since the introduction of our current branding, remnants of our old branding still exist throughout the City. Additionally, since that time, a lot has changed with Eagle Mountain City including the sale of our utilities, a new middle school and high school, and entirely new fiscal path, and more. A discussion has arisen regarding the need to reevaluate our brand to make it more effective, meaningful, and match the vision of the city. It was determined that a concept for a new logo be designed to demonstrate the possibilities in a new brand. The combined efforts of Jibe Media and Eagle Mountain City staff have created a concept for Council’s review and to initiate the discussion of a brand overhaul.”Since the logo was not officially voted on at this meeting, I am not going to include a picture of it in this article, but I will include a gallery of the logos that have been used by the city since it was formed 23 years ago.
