Eagle Mountian is a city in Utah with a population of 35,000 residents and it is growing daily. The Corona Virus (COVID-19) has affected everyone around the globe. I recently did a survey for Eagle Mountain Residents and asked specific questions on how they are being affected by the virus. The results are overall positive. The survey was conducted over a period of a week. The respondents were asked to participate through Facebook posts and ads. There were 370 Eagle Mountain residents that responded to the survey. Overall Eagle Mountain residents feel that they are helping prevent the spread of the virus. 71% of surveyed residents feel safe and 90% of the surveyed residents feel that we will be able to bounce back after the pandemic is over.
A little infor on COVID-19
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses, some causing illness in people and others circulating among animals including camels, cats and bats.
There are several known coronaviruses that infect people and usually only cause mild respiratory disease, such as the common cold. However, at least two previously identified coronaviruses have caused severe disease — severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV). SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV have been ruled out as the cause of the current outbreak.
While originally thought to spread from animal to person, recently, there have been indications that person-to-person spread is occurring in China and affected countries.
The infectious period for this virus is unknown. Based on other coronaviruses, people infected with 2019-nCOV should be considered to be contagious from the day of fever onset until 10 days after fever ends, or until appropriate laboratory testing shows the patient is no longer contagious.
Coronaviruses typically have an incubation period of 2‒14 days after exposure. The specific incubation period for this coronavirus is unknown.

Survey Results
The following set of questions were designed to get a demographic for those who took the survey.
86% of the residents noted that they do not personally know anyone that has tested positive to COVID-19. It should be noted that some residents said they knew of people being tested but the results were not back from those tests yet.
Almost half of those surveyed said that they had someone living in their household that are considered high risk for the COVID-19 virus.
Those at risk say that the majority of them are receiving the help they need from neighbors and family.
The following set of questions are to see how residents feel about the response of the Media, Local and State leaders to the virus.
The last three questions are to get a feeling for how residents feel about their response to the virus and future outcome after the pandemic.
