Eagle Mountain City has embarked on a major rebrand that looks to redefine the City’s identity and invigorate its sense of community.
The rebranding initiative aims to position the City to achieve future goals and better align with changes in population and resident needs.
“We have worked really hard on this rebrand,” say Eagle Mountain City Communications Manager Tyler Maffitt. “The City’s new branding, I hope, instills a renewed sense of pride among residents and shows a renewed commitment for the values all of us hold dear.”
The rebranding, a product of extensive collaboration between City officials, a local marketing firm and community members, was meticulously crafted to reflect Eagle Mountain’s rich heritage, its flourishing outdoor spaces, and its vision for the future.
The rebrand initiative sought to encapsulate the City’s unique place in Utah while fostering a cohesive community identity that resonates with all who call Eagle Mountain home.
Central to the rebranding effort is a dynamic new logo.
“This is a captivating blend of modern design and symbolic significance, and it features elements inspired by the City’s natural beauty,” says Maffitt. “The colors alone should put residents in a mindset of taking advantage of our recreational opportunities and appreciating the outdoor amenities that so many communities lack in their planning efforts.”
Mayor Tom Westmoreland expressed enthusiasm about the rebrand, emphasizing its potential to unify the community and attract attention to Eagle Mountain’s unique offerings.
“This rebrand is more than just a visual transformation; it’s a testament to our community’s resilience and collective vision for the future,” Westmoreland said. “This gets us to a competitive place in the areas of economic development, state and regional relationships, tourism, and cultivating a strong sense of community.”
The impact of the rebrand aims to target the areas of City employee performance, increased civic and community engagement, and business attraction.
Community members were surveyed in the summer of 2023 prior to the rebrand.
“The new branding encapsulates the heart of our city,” says Maffitt. “It’s inspiring to see how it brings us all together and showcases what makes Eagle Mountain truly special.”
Looking ahead, residents should anticipate a changeover in branding on park signage, street signage and displayed on the City’s communication channels.
