Gov. Spencer Cox will address those in attendance about Utah’s support of small business and entrepreneurs and the trajectory of Utah’s economy.
This milestone marks a significant step in transforming Eagle Mountain into a leading hub for small businesses in Utah County.
The Launch Pad Grand Opening is set to garner attention from across the state, highlighting Eagle Mountain’s rapid growth from a rural area to one of the fastest-growing communities in Utah. The event will celebrate not just the creation of Launch Pad but also Utah’s spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Funded through a $100k grant from the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity for a Business Incubator, $50k from Comcast for the Digital Literacy Center, and $250k from Meta/Facebook for this Business Resource Center, Launch Pad is poised to be a groundbreaking space for entrepreneurs and small businesses.

-Robyn & Rudy Chavez: Owners of R&R Tactical started in their basement in 2019 and have now broken ground on a new building housing multiple businesses and creating 200 jobs.
-Melanie Castillo: Owner of Quality Roofing & Energy, in addition to leading a woman and minority owned business, she’s also a General Contractor in a male-dominated industry. She started 3 years ago at her kitchen table, and now has created 20+ jobs in Utah.
-Bryan Jeppson: Owner of Jeppson Automotive transitioned from a garage startup in 2014 to a state-of-the-art automotive shop opened in March 2023.
-Dana & Rachael Smith: Owners of Mucky Boot Pest Control, they launched a home-based business in 2019 and have grown to a team of licensed professionals, doubling their revenue and client base in the last 12 months.
