Each month the city publishes the Eagle’s View. A city hall sponsored newsletter for 2024 The Eagle’s View newsletter for 2024 covered a variety of topics. One of the sections, The Mayor’s Corner, also called the Mayor’s Minute, is a regular feature in the Eagle’s View newsletter, and it serves several important purposes for the city of Eagle Mountain. These purposes include communication to residents, transparency and accountability, community engagement, and the highlighting of key issues.

- January: Ascend Together by shopping local
The Mayor encourages residents to support local businesses to invest in the community’s prosperity and ensure Eagle Mountain remains a welcoming and thriving place for future generations. The mayor emphasizes that local businesses are the heart of Eagle Mountain, and that residents should elevate the city through their purchasing power. By shopping locally, residents strengthen the ties that bind them as proud members of Eagle Mountain. - February: Be Ready Eagle Mountain
This message focuses on emergency preparedness, urging residents to take advantage of the city’s resources and training. The Mayor emphasizes that while the city is working to be better prepared, individuals should not rely on the city to do all of the preparation for them. The Mayor advocates that by understanding threats, knowing capabilities, and being prepared, residents can avoid living in fear. - March: Green thumbs a necessity when cultivating Eagle Mountain
The Mayor discusses the importance of mindful soil preparation and gardening practices as spring emerges. The message emphasizes how residents can transform their properties into flourishing gardens and havens for pollinators.
