Registered voters have started to receive their mail-in ballots for the 2022 General Election. This election includes voting for a U.S. Senate Seat, a U.S. House Seat, Other State Officials, Two County Commission Seats, as well as a Constitutional Amendment, and the Alpine School District Bond. This article contains information that you can use to stay informed about the candidates and make an educated decision when you mail your ballot in.
You can find out exactly what your ballot will look like by going to https://vote.utah.gov and filling out the little form on their site. Below is an example of what the ballot will look like, as well as voter information at the end of the article. I have included the Apline Shcool District Bond, the Constintutal Amendment, and the voter information packets at the end of this article.

Eagle Mountain is in two different Senate Districts, so the US senate part has two different options depending on where you live in Eagle Mountain. The western part of Eagle Mountain, Cedar Fort, and Fairfield is in State House District 50, and the eastern part of Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs is in State House District 51.

Constitutional Amendment A
Shall the Utah Constitution be amended to change a provision relating to special sessions of the Utah Legislature that are convened by the president of the Utah Senate and speaker of the Utah House of Representatives: * to increase the limit on the total amount of money the Legislature may appropriate during the session from an amount equal to 1% of the total amount appropriated during the preceding fiscal year to an amount equal to 5% of the total amount appropriated during the preceding fiscal year; and *to exclude from that 5% limit: - an appropriation of money that the state receives from the federal government to address a fiscal, public health, or other emergency or crisis; and - an appropriation that decreases the amount of money previously authorized to be spent.
