Oquirrh Mountain (RK Builders) Just South of Unity Pass and on the West side of Pony Express is the Oquirrh Mountain Master Development. It is 120 acres in size, includes an LDS church site (already approved by the City Council), single family dwellings, town homes, duplex units, as well as some tri-plex units. 53 acres are dedicated to parks and green space. Agreement Documents Glenmar (Marianne Smith) Glenmar is a large acre log development, it consists of 11 lots and is located a short distance south on Lake Mountain Road. The development is being done by Marianne Smith, who also lives on Lake Mountain Road. Ivory Homes Website has this to say about the development. “Overland is one of Ivory’s largest master-planned communities and is sure to have everything you’re looking for. Phase 1 of Overland features beautiful home designs from our popular main-line collection. Cory Wride Memorial Park (Eagle Mountain City) Cory Wride Memorial park has several phases it is going through, current construction is Phase 1A. Phase 1A will include: Field lights, grading and drainage, irrigation, utilities, field renovations, outfield fencing and gates, parking, four shade structures, eight dugouts, scoreboards, 130 trees, turf, playground, four benches, two bike racks, eight picnic tables, as well as trash receptacles. The 2.2 Millions Dollars for phase 1A will be coming from a field light grant, impact fees, and community improvement fees. Construction has already started on Phase 1A and is planned to be done by the end of the 2017 calendar year. New High School (Apline School District) Go Kestrels! The new High School will be located South of Cory Wride Memorial Park, and is suspected to be finished June of 2019, for summer activities prior to the start of the 2019 School year. Sage Park (Patterson Homes) Patterson Homes website says this about this development, “One of our newest communities in Eagle Mountain providing spacious quarter- and third-acre+ lots designed for larger homes that accommodate 3-car garages at a price you can afford. Sage Park contains a new city park with open space, soccer fields, and playgrounds that whole family will enjoy.” Trailhead (J. Thomas Homes) From the J. Thomas Homes website, “Trailhead is conveniently located next to Eagle Valley Elementary School and across the street from the Eagle Mountain City Center and Library. Enjoy the quiet wide open spaces that Trailhead has to offer as there are more than 30 miles of jogging, biking, and horse trails which connect to the surrounding residential communities.” Closed Trials It should also be noted, that part of the park system will be unavailable during construction in the area. The City posted this in regards to the closed trails. “Exciting things are happening Eagle Mountain. You may have noticed construction activity along Pony Express Pkwy between Hidden Hollow Elementary and Bobby Wren Blvd. Construction has begun on the new high school and the Ivory Homes development Overland, and continues at Cory B.
