On December 28th, Six Sisters Deli & Grille announced that they will hang up the aprons and close their doors. The restaurant has been having a hard time recovering after COVID shut them down for a while.
In September 2014, Six Sister’s Deli and Grille filed with the State of Utah as a business entity. Since then, they have been serving custom burgers, sandwiches, and fries to the residents of Eagle Mountain and have become an icon in the area. In a Facebook post, they give the following reasons for the decision. “Due to some new life complications, triple food costs, labor, and everything else we are challenged by in these times, we made the heartbreaking decision to hang up our aprons, close the door, and retire permanently.” They are currently open to conversations about selling the brand to someone else to keep the icon going.
Here is the Facebook post in its entirety.
Right now I feel like Indiana Jones, at the end of my rope over a pit of vipers…snakes, why’d it have to be snakes?!
Life can be funny at times, sometimes, HAHA, sometimes HMMMM.
Six Sisters Deli & Grille recently made the decision to close our original location in preparation to move to a newly built space just across the parking lot. We have been so excited about the opportunity to grow here in our home town.
What’s the thing about making plans… the best made plans often go awry.
Due to some new life complications, triple food costs, labor, and everything else we are challenged by in these times, we made the heartbreaking decision to hang up our aprons, close the door, and retire permanently.
Although we were told the space was cursed, we can’t help to feel quite the opposite! The past 7 and 1/2 years have been filled with so much more than burgers, sandwiches, and dole whips. It’s always been about the people! About all of you. The stories and relationships have taught us all so much! We have had fantastic employees and customers and we will be forever grateful for all the wonderful relationships.
Words can’t describe the endless gratitude we have for this community! We have been so blessed here from our beginnings, through menu changes, through the pandemic, to this final letter. Thank you all.
Restaurants need a constant revenue to stay open. Sadly we closed the original location because our revenue was down more than 65% from last year!
Our final plea as we say our goodbyes, please support locally owned businesses. For every $1 spent at a locally owned and operated small business, $.70 stays in the community! These are our wives, our husbands, and our kids, who work hard in our community so we don’t have to live in a world with only McDonalds and big box stores.
SUPPORT LOCAL!
If anyone is interested, we are open to conversations about selling our brand.

Here are some of the things that people are saying.
Julie K. – “Monica-you have been such a huge supporter of our community and the loss of Six Sisters is significant. I hope you realize how essential you have been. As a member of the food allergy community, I also appreciated how you created a safe space with quality food for these families who often struggle to find accommodations. I understand your decision and have nothing but beautiful memories of all you have created. Wishing you the best in all the future holds for you!”
Dani R – “Six Sisters was such a wonderful place to eat. Knowing the food would always be amazing was enough to keep us coming back, but even better was knowing the kind and benevolent owners, and the good they did for the community. We will miss you!”
Christina H – “You guys have been a wonderful part of the community. We are so sorry to see you go!”
Jeana F – “Oh no, so sorry to read this. The past few years for small businesses have been real challenging. I totally feel your pain. Best of luck. Your food always looked delicious!”
