Recently Eagle Mountain City did a survey of the Local Businesses in Eagle Mountain. The survey was responded to by a little over 200 business owners. cedarvalleysentinel.com has done a GRAMA request for the raw data of that survey. The city has provided it and the details are listed below.
The request from the City stated: “Eagle Mountain City is seeking input from EM businesses to determine if there are additional ways the City and/or the Chamber of Commerce can support local businesses. Please complete the survey as soon as possible.” The survey has been closed to respondents. The data collected is available below, with the exception of some data. When responding to the GRAMA request the city responded with the following caveat, “any information that could reveal the identity of the respondents has been redacted, as there were key questions that related to financial information. Also, there are a few rows that are blank; those were not redacted; I believe those responses may not have been fully submitted by respondents, but the survey software still generated a response.”

Eagle Mountain Virtual Main Street, or the
Eagle Mountain Chamber of Commerce and patronize local business.
EDITORS NOTE: I do not believe this data is 100% reliable. There were a lot of empty rows, as well as some data missing. The data that I entred for cedarvalleysentinel.com was not included, so I know that there were some of the data lines removed as part of the GRAMA request. It would be interesting to know what criteria the City Staff uses when they determine what is considered private information that is purged during a GRAMA request.
