Backed by BioMADE and the U.S. Department of Defense, local schools and colleges are building pathways for students to explore biotech careers through hands-on projects, stackable credentials, and industry partnerships. From low-cost classroom bioreactors to career connections with companies like Checkerspot and CleanJoule, teachers and students in Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, Cedar Fort, and Fairfield now have new resources to prepare for high-demand jobs in Utah’s growing life sciences sector.
